The founders of the magazine are professionals in different fields that  joined experiences, knowledge and creativity to work as a team under the same objective: Preserve and disseminate the Spanish language, cultural heritage and family values to new generations of Hispanic Canadians. After six months of planning and research, Kiddo Magazine launched its first publication in St. Catharines during the 2007 Folk Arts Festival - Open house of the Latin American Cultural Club of the Niagara Region.
